Cambrian Packaging is a Welsh-based privately-owned international supplier of plastic packaging solutions. They specialise in trigger spray heads and plastic bottles and they have developed their own range, as well as 100% recycled plastic packaging and e-commerce packaging.
Cambrian wanted to increase brand awareness, product awareness and establish themselves as thought-leaders in their industry and as trigger spray specialists.
We created a set of extensive brand guidelines to reflect a rebrand and new branding for the trigger spray range. This included a new approach to marketing, demonstrating products being used in several industries and highlighting specific features and benefits for those industries. This included new product photography and new photography for the website, social media and marketing materials.
We delivered competitor research and detailed all the marketing options available, including exhibitions, publications and costings.
Cambrian’s old website was completely custom coded, extremely slow and not fit for purpose. A new e-commerce website was required, and we worked with Cambrian to design, write and create a new website featuring an enhanced product selector and search function. Customers can also order samples through the site and enquire about specific products much more easily.
We implemented an SEO strategy to increase Search Engine Results Page rankings, resulting in several products in the top 3 results on Google. We also write monthly blog posts featuring SEO keywords to increase rankings and generate quality content.
For the new website we also designed and created around 400 product specification PDFs which could be downloaded by customers. We are currently developing another website, specifically to promote trigger spray heads and this will be even more detailed.
We have increased Twitter followers by 564% (paid social media advertising campaigns) over 20 months and LinkedIn followers to 62% (mostly organic, with some paid advertising).
Cambrian wanted more exposure in industry publications and we write press releases and liase with the media on their behalf. Eight press releases generated 30 pieces of coverage in international and national industry publications, with an Advertising Value Equivalent of over £19k. Industry publications included Packaging News, British Plastics and Rubber and Converter Magazine.
